Precio: a consultar Katana, imperial armorer Ryuminsai Kanetomo signed, dates from the Taisho period, blade with a cutting edge of 26 1/4 inches and from tip to tip it measures 33 7/8 inches in length. The blade wears a hamon (wavy temper line) which extends to the tip on both sides. The blade is in very good, preserved condition, still wearing a nice polish and although has only one very tiny nick near the tip, has no openings, no bends and no cracks. The one hole tang is signed which translates to "Noshu Seki Ju Kanetomo saku". The beautiful fittings remain in very good condition as does the nice tightly wrapped hilt and old iron tsuba. The Sword is mounted with a black lacquered wooden scabbard, which is most likely a later replacement, nevertheless fits the blade well and does remain in good condition. Price: to consult |
